Job summary

DMG MORI USA, Inc. in Hoffman Estates, IL seeks an IT Help Desk Administrator to deliver technical support for end users, manage devices, and deploy software across the organization. The role emphasizes customer service and maintaining a secure, productive IT environment for employees.

Hours are Monday–Friday, with opportunities to support executives and participate in IT projects. This is a full-time on-site role in Illinois.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years in Help Desk, Desktop Support, or IT Support role.
• Experience with Windows and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Experience managing and troubleshooting mobile devices (iOS/iPadOS).
• Familiarity with Active Directory, endpoint management, and remote support tools.
• Experience with imaging, software deployment, and hardware troubleshooting.
• Strong troubleshooting across desktop, mobile, server, and networking tech.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Certifications such as A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft 365 Endpoint Administrator, ITIL or similar are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to employees across hardware, software, mobile devices, and business applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues for local and remote users.
• Provide white-glove support to executives and senior leadership.
• Provision computers, deploy software, and configure workstations.
• Support and troubleshoot Apple iPhone and iPad devices.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding, device prep, and account setup.
• Diagnose conference room tech issues (video, displays, audio, peripherals).
• Install, configure, and maintain approved business software and hardware.
• Track IT asset inventory and maintain records.
• Document issues, resolutions, and procedures in ticketing system and knowledge base.
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical users.
• Identify recurring issues and help develop long-term solutions.
• Support IT projects and technology initiatives as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
