Sprout is seeking an IT Hardware Technician to evaluate, test, and de-manufacture electronic equipment, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. The role supports inventory accuracy and data handling in line with industry regulations while contributing to the company’s sustainability mission.

You will sort devices, run diagnostics, erase data, and disassemble equipment for component harvest. Strong attention to detail and experience with ITAD or electronics recycling are preferred

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+) preferred.
• Lean training or certification is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Sort and evaluate electronic equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of materials using scan guns and manual entry.
• Conduct thorough testing of electronic components and sub-assemblies.
• Perform data erasure following standardized protocols.
• Disassemble (harvest) electronic equipment into components.
• Ensure precise inventory tracking and management.
• Maintain a clean, hazard-free working environment and adhere to safety protocols.
• Coordinate with team members for smooth workflow transitions.
