Job summary

Sprout, a global IT hardware retirement provider, seeks an ITAD Operator to identify, sort, reconcile, and de-manufacture IT assets in line with Sprout’s operational standards and data security procedures (R2v3, ISO 27001).

Based in Garland, TX, this full-time role requires 1 year in ITAD or reverse logistics, fluent English, 40 WPM typing, basic arithmetic, hand-tools experience, and willingness to work overtime including weekends as tasks evolve.

Qualifications

• Proficient in English with strong reading and writing skills.
• Able to type at least 40 words per minute with accuracy.
• Basic arithmetic for task calculations.
• Experience with hand tools (power drill, pliers, etc.).
• Willingness to work overtime, including weekends when needed.
• Able to adapt to changing tasks and expectations.
• Minimum 1 year in ITAD or reverse logistics.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and inventory management.
• Demonstrated quality control and process improvement skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and categorize IT assets and consumer electronics.
• Safely transport materials across the site.
• Keep workstations and stock areas organized.
• Disassemble IT assets into parts for recycling or disposal.
• Adhere to operational procedures.
• Follow safety and data security procedures (R2v3, ISO 27001).
• Master processing activities: Audit, De-Manufacturing, Clean/Pack.
• Document actions and materials using ERP system and scan tools.
• Advance stock organization and material recovery tasks.
