Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that would provide the required abilities.
• 0-1 years of experience in IT field as a computer hardware technician or similar role.
• 1-2 years professional work experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Excel & MS Word)
• Must be well-versed in computer systems and their assembly.
• Thorough knowledge of computer systems and components that make them up.
• Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience.
• Must successfully pass criminal background check and drug screening.
• Ability to operate small tools, both manual and electrical as needed for assignments.
• Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides.
• Ability to conduct research into PC issues and products as required.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to fix issues and ensure functionality.
• Dependable and Reliable.

Responsibilities

• Effectively & efficiently disassemble technical equipment and sort parts to store in designated receptacle.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve or repair computer hardware and server problems as needed.
• Accurately document instances of hardware failure, repair, installation, and removal.
• Provide technical assistance and resolution as necessary.
• Test repaired hardware or other equipment to confirm repair.
