Job summary

Staff Perm is seeking a PC Maintenance Technician to maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair computer systems, hardware, and peripherals in a dynamic environment. The role emphasizes documenting, maintaining, upgrading, or replacing hardware and software to ensure optimal performance.

The successful candidate will install hardware/software for new employees, support user accounts, and coordinate with vendors as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain user account information including rights, security, and systems groups.
• Provide routine analysis and problem solving of network or PC software, hardware, or peripherals.
• Contact and coordinate with hardware or software vendors for service if necessary.
• Install computer hardware, software, and peripherals for new employees.
• Install new software packages and upgrades.
• May control password assignment.
• May aid in the development of system documentation and procedure manuals as required.
• May facilitate and conduct training sessions for company employees in the operation of software/hardware systems.

• PAY RANGE: $25.00

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain user account information including rights, security, and systems groups.
• Provide routine analysis and problem solving of network or PC software, hardware, or peripherals.
• Contact and coordinate with hardware or software vendors for service if necessary.
• Install computer hardware, software, and peripherals for new employees.
• Install new software packages and upgrades.
• May control password assignment.
• May aid in the development of system documentation and procedure manuals as required.
• May facilitate and conduct training sessions for company employees in the operation of software/hardware systems.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Excellent customer service skills required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two-year degree or equivalent preferred.
• General knowledge of a wide variety of software, hardware, and PC operating systems preferred.
