Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a hardware technician to work in a warehouse environment. You will disassemble IT equipment, troubleshoot components, and document repairs. The role requires basic IT hardware knowledge and the ability to operate hand tools when needed.

Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to read technical manuals are essential for success in this position. 0–1 year of IT experience is preferred, with room to grow into configuring new hardware.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–1 year of IT hardware experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word is a plus.
• Able to read and understand OEM guides and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Effectively disassemble IT equipment and sort parts.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve hardware problems.
• Document hardware failures, repairs, installations and removals.
• Test repaired hardware to confirm functionality.
