Job summary

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Employment, Banking and Revenue Delivery Center is seeking an IT Generalist 1 to support statewide technology needs. You will help keep critical systems running and collaborate with multiple partner agencies, ensuring procurement and financial processes are organized and compliant.

The role offers full-time hours, potential telework part-time, with in-office presence in Harrisburg when required.

Qualifications

• One year as an Information Technology Trainee or IT Technician, or
• Three years IT experience in applications development or maintenance, networking or desktop services, web site development or IT support/administration services, or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Review IT purchase materials and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
• Stakeholder Coordination: Work with agency staff, vendors, and subject matter experts to move procurement actions forward
• Financial Tracking: Monitor procurement data and verify cost savings and funding needs
• Contract Management: Develop procurement documents and assist with evaluating proposals and vendor responses
• Issue Resolution: Address procurement obstacles and escalate issues when required
• Technical Assistance: Provide guidance on procurement-related matters for various IT domains
