Job summary

Core Specialty Insurance Holdings, Inc. seeks an IT FP&A Manager to lead project cost oversight, technology spend reporting, and IT investment analysis.

You will partner with IT and business leaders to improve cost tracking visibility, deliver timely insights, and drive decision-making. You will prepare the annual IT budget, quarterly reforecasts, and long-term plans, while producing detailed financial analyses against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required.
• CPA/CMA/MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of financial experience, with IT/product development exposure.
• Proven ability to model complex, project-based costs.
• Strong time management and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Proactive, analytical mindset with strong problem-solving.
• Initiative to improve processes and data analysis.
• Strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Lead IT FP&A partner within FP&A to oversee project costs and technology spend reporting.
• Develop financial business cases for technology investments and monitor project performance.
• Support capital approval with robust financial justification.
• Conduct post-project assessments to verify financial/non-financial objectives.
• Co-develop the annual technology budget with IT leadership (labor, software, systems, third-party costs).
• Provide monthly/quarterly/annual financial analysis and reporting against budget/forecast.
• Run financial modeling and scenario analysis for IT strategy decisions.
• Enhance reporting automation to reduce manual effort.
• Provide ad-hoc financial and business decision support as needed.
• Handle other duties as assigned.
