Job summary

Core Specialty Insurance Services, Inc. seeks an IT FP&A Manager to lead project cost oversight, technology spend reporting, and analysis. The role partners with IT and business leaders to improve cost tracking visibility and deliver timely insights for decision-making.

You will help prepare annual IT budgets, quarterly reforecasts, and long-term plans, with detailed financial analyses comparing budget, forecast, and prior results. This new FP&A role interfaces with CIO/CTO and IT project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
• CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant financial experience, with IT or product development exposure.
• Proven ability to model complex, project-based costs.
• Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines with limited supervision.
• Proactive, analytical, and capable of using critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the dedicated finance partner to the IT function within FP&A.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to develop financial business cases for technology investments.
• Evaluate technology investment proposals through financial justification in the capital process.
• Complete post assessments to verify achievement of financial and non-financial objectives.
• Co-develop the annual technology budget with IT leadership.
