Core Specialty Insurance Holdings, Inc. is seeking an IT FP&A Manager to lead project cost oversight, technology spend reporting, and insights for IT investment decisions.

The role partners with CIO/CTO and business leaders to deliver budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans for technology spend. The incumbent will develop financial analyses, validate performance against budgets, and drive decision-making with robust financial modeling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
• CPA, CMA, or MBA are preferred.
• 5+ years of financial experience, with IT or product development focus.
• Proven ability to model complex, project-based costs.
• Strong time management and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Proactive, analytical mindset with data-driven decision making.
• Collaborates well with internal and external stakeholders.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the dedicated finance partner to the IT function, embedded within FP&A.
• Collaborate to develop financial business cases for technology investments and track performance.
• Evaluate investment proposals with robust financial justification for capital approvals.
• Complete post assessments to verify achievement of objectives.
• Co-develop the annual technology budget with IT leadership across labor, software, and services.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analysis and reporting against budget and forecast.
• Provide financial modeling and scenario analysis to support IT strategy decisions.
• Automate reporting and streamline processes to reduce manual effort.
• Provide ad-hoc finance support for business decisions as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
