Job summary

Securian Financial is seeking an IT Finance Business Partner to join the FP&A team. You will advise IT and ECPMO leaders, lead planning and forecasting, and translate complex data into actionable insights that influence technology investments and enterprise decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; MBA preferred.
• Extensive experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Experience supporting Technology/IT financial management and TCO concepts.
• Strong ability to translate data into actionable insights for senior leaders.
• Demonstrated credibility with cross-functional partners and executives.
• Excellent communication and financial storytelling skills.
• Experience building or evaluating business cases and cost-benefit analyses.
• Proficient with financial, analytics or BI tools; Apptio or SAP is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Partner with IT and ECPMO leaders as a strategic finance advisor.
• Lead planning, budgeting and forecasting for IT and ECPMO areas.
• Analyze results, identify drivers of variance, and advise actions.
• Support quarterly close, accrual reviews and analytics.
• Develop cost management tools and business cases for investments.
• Collaborate to improve reporting, dashboards and decision-support tools.
