Job summary

Arch Capital Group seeking an IT Expense Analyst to track and allocate IT spend, partner with IT leaders on budgeting, and provide insightful analysis for the IT Steering Committee. You will prepare expense trackers, assist with accruals and journal entries, and develop ad-hoc reports for stakeholders.

The role requires 5–7 years of IT spend analysis, proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and BI tools, and experience with Agile IT frameworks in a global context.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Finance, Accounting or Data Analytics field.
• 5–7 years of experience analyzing and forecasting IT spend.
• Experience with Agile IT Frameworks and global outsourcing functions is preferred.
• Knowledge of IT expense categorization and GAAP (capitalization, amortization, depreciation).
• Proficiency with Excel formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Track IT expenses and allocations across Arch Capital Group.
• Partner with IT leadership to understand projects and assist budgeting.
• Maintain IT expense tracker and reports for IT Steering Committee.
• Assist with cost-benefit analyses and quarterly accruals and journal entries.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports and presentations for stakeholders.
