Job summary

COMPUtek Dental Systems in Raleigh, NC is seeking an experienced field technician to join our IT support team. You will travel locally to dental practices to service servers, workstations, printers, and network gear, starting from a home base.

Responsibilities include remote and onsite support, installations, backups, remote monitoring, and timely ticket responses. You will interact with doctors and staff to ensure high levels of satisfaction and reliable systems.

Qualifications

Experience supporting Windows Server environments (2019/2022/2025).
Strong remote connectivity skills (RDP, VPN).
TCP/IP networking and cabling experience.
Understanding of virtualization.
Ability to lift/install hardware (monitors, servers, APs, printers).
Background check required.

Responsibilities

Provide remote and onsite technical support for servers, computers, printers, firewalls & other equipment.
Hardware/software installations at dental practices including network cabling, servers, computers, TVs, printers, etc.
Ensure backups and remote monitoring of client assets.
Respond to client tickets promptly and professionally.
Follow up with doctors' offices to ensure customer satisfaction.
