Job summary

Sentinel Technologies, Inc. is seeking an IT Field Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain laptops, tablets, and smartphones, with a focus on network troubleshooting and security updates. The position is full-time and onsite at a client site in Dayton, OH.

A valid driver’s license and car are required for travel between locations. Qualified candidates will have experience with Chromebooks, Windows laptops, password resets, device repair, and Cisco networking gear.

Qualifications

• Experience with Chromebooks and Windows Laptops troubleshooting.
• Ability to perform password resets.
• Experience with device repair.
• Experience troubleshooting network connectivity issues.
• Experience with Cisco Routers and Switches.
• Experience with routine system updates and patches for security and performance.
• Must have a car for travel and transportation of equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance.
• Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Demonstrates a can-do attitude and ACE (Attitude, Compassion, Enthusiasm).

Responsibilities

As an IT Field Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of electronic devices, primarily focusing on laptops, tablets, and smartphones. You will play a crucial role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing the network infrastructure to meet the business requirements. This is a full time role reporting onsite at our client site in Dayton, OH.

• Experience with device repair
• Experience troubleshooting network connectivity issues
• Experience with Cisco Routers and Switches
