Job summary

California State University Long Beach seeks an IT and Facilities Coordinator to support the CHHS IT and CHHS Facilities units with data entry, scheduling, records, and personnel matters, while serving as a customer service liaison for faculty, staff, and students.

This 1-year, full-time role supports the IT Supervisor and Facilities Lead, handles travel and purchasing documents, reconciles funds monthly, maintains data and inventories, and assists with room scheduling, vendor communications,

Qualifications

• Requires equivalent to four years of administrative support experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or comparable experience preferred.
• Experience with purchasing, reconciliation, and reporting is preferred.
• Experience with PeopleSoft and SharePoint is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reconciles IT/Facilities funds monthly and reports errors to leads.
• Provides reports and financial information to IT/Facilities Leads.
• Acts as liaison between staff, faculty and IT personnel; handles phones and group emails.
• Supports room scheduling for shared spaces and campus-wide use.
