Job summary

LCMC Health seeks an Applications Team Lead to guide Epic-focused teams in designing, building, and supporting systems that improve care delivery. You will own the full lifecycle from strategy to optimization, ensuring secure, compliant, and reliable applications that boost patient experience.

You will mentor staff, manage escalations, and drive projects to meet timelines and SLAs while partnering with providers and staff to deliver tools that elevate patient care.

Qualifications

• 5 years of healthcare IT, Epic, or healthcare experience with a Bachelor's Degree.
• 7 years of healthcare IT, Epic, or healthcare experience with Associate's Degree.
• 9 years of healthcare IT, Epic, or healthcare experience with High School Diploma/GED.
• Epic implementation experience.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills.

Applications Team Lead

The Applications Team Lead is a bold, hands-on leader and Epic expert who transforms complex ideas into powerful, real-world solutions. With a high degree of ownership and minimal supervision, this role leads application teams in designing, building, and supporting Epic systems that streamline work for providers, empower staff, and elevate the patient experience.

As the trusted subject matter expert for assigned applications, you'll own the full lifecycle—from strategy and design to build, optimization, and support. You'll ensure systems are secure, efficient, compliant, and built to meet the real demands of healthcare operations. Whether supporting clinical, ancillary, or financial workflows, your work directly fuels high-quality patient care.
