Job summary

3M is seeking an IT Enterprise Applications Technical Project Manager to lead remediation efforts, reduce technical debt, and improve stability, security, and maintainability of enterprise applications. You will partner with cybersecurity, infrastructure, architecture, and application owners to drive risk reduction across a complex technology landscape.

The role is on-site at 3M Center in Maplewood, MN, with up to 5% travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or Technology field completed and verified prior to start
Six (6) years of IT projects in an enterprise environment
Experience with enterprise applications, lifecycle management, and risk

Responsibilities

Lead technical projects focused on vulnerability remediation, technical debt reduction, modernization, and platform risk mitigation.
Partner with cybersecurity, infrastructure, application, and architecture teams to assess findings, define remediation plans, and track progress.
Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, and status reporting for multiple initiatives.
Coordinate remediation efforts across portfolios: patching, upgrades, configuration changes, decommissioning, and tech refresh.
Facilitate prioritization of technical debt based on business impact, security risk, and resources.
Track remediation progress against SLAs, risk thresholds, and commitments.
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure plans are realistic and compliant with standards.
