Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technology, computer science, information systems, or related technical discipline or equivalent experience
• 5 years delivering solutions with ITIL/Agile/XP or similar methodologies
• 3 years leading product teams
• Airline industry experience in engineering/business processes is preferred

Responsibilities

• Guides solutions with a strong business and technology perspective and communicates objectives to engineers
• Collaborates with Business and IT leadership to execute the technical vision and roadmaps
• Creates self-governing delivery squads accountable for performance and delivery commitments
• Removes roadblocks and sustains cross-functional collaboration across IT and leadership
• Provides input on technology decisions, people management, and product features across all stages of the lifecycle
• Maintains open lines of communication between engineering squads and IT leadership to adhere to business requirements
• Facilitates engineer check-ins, sprint delivery, and cross-stakeholder communication
• Drives upskilling and adoption of emerging technologies across the organization
• Manages staffing strategy and budgeting for squads and aligns with Scrum/Agile principles
• Promotes modern industry trends and continuously improves AA IT capabilities
• Leads the team using SDLC principles and a focus on resiliency and reliability
