Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a configuration or system designer or manager.
• Preferably 2+ years as configuration or system designer or director.

Responsibilities

• Provide understanding of server load adjustment and application scaling concepts.
• Investigate and resolve middleware issues across various environments.
• Monitor local and remote server farm activities.
• Stay current with infrastructure best practices and recommend improvements.
• Answer client inquiries on infrastructure issues and provide support.
• Oversee and maintain Windows Active Directory.
• Mentor junior specialists and assist as needed.
• Provide on-call support during off-hours.

Skills

Server Organization – Linux (RHEL/CentOS 7/8) and Windows (2012/2016)

Infrastructure as Code – Terraform, Python, PowerShell

Cloud Experience – Microsoft Azure, AWS, IBM Cloud

DevOps – CI/CD, GitHub, Artifactory, Jenkins

Containerization – Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry

Monitoring – Dynatrace, LogDNA, Sysdig

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Effective communication and mentorship abilities

Education

Minimum 4-year college degree in Software Engineering or related discipline
