Qualifications

• Minimum education or comparable work experience in software engineering, data platforms, the cloud, or a related field.
• 10 years of experience in custom application delivery.
• 3+ years of experience leading teams with direct reports.
• Experience in cloud-based application delivery highly desired.
• Prior experience with Java and UI development preferred.
• Experience managing budgets and finances.
• Experience in the aviation industry, including the lifecycle and innovation processes, a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Experience handling high-pressure and critical situations.
• Proficiency in Agile project management and the implementation of Agile practices.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects successfully.

Responsibilities

• Balance needs across multiple stakeholders while focusing on high‑value initiatives aligned with critical goals.
• Collaborate with business and IT leaders to define and communicate the vision, strategy, and work priorities.
• Ensure agile processes for executive support, business analysis, and QA.
• Create a culture that empowers delivery teams to be self‑managed and accountable.
• Recruit, grow, and mentor a high‑performing, diverse team.
• Oversee and track project and program schedules and budgets with stakeholders.
• Oversee adoption and integration of new and emerging technologies.
• Lead, influence, and maintain innovation practices and objectives to ensure visibility.
• Manage ticket routing, support, communication, and coordination as required.
• Travel as required and work extended hours when necessary to meet project requirements.
