Dormont Manufacturing Co is seeking students for a part-time position in information technology services at Penn State's Applied Research Laboratory. You will assist with desktop systems administration, computing support, networking, and cybersecurity within a dynamic environment.
This role requires strong communication, customer service, and technical writing skills. The position offers flexible hours, with up to 20 hours per week during semesters and 40 hours in the summer.
The Information Technology Services Office of the Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) at Penn State is seeking students to work across a variety of information technology disciplines including, but not limited to: endpoint systems administration, computing support, networking, and cybersecurity. ARL is an authorized DoD SkillBridge partner and welcomes all transitioning military members to apply.
The successful candidate will work up to 20 hours per week during the fall and spring semesters and 40 hours per week over the summer. Hours will vary.
This is a paid part-time position, located near Penn State's University Park Campus in State College, PA. Relocation and housing are not provided.
Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies. All positions at ARL require candidates to possess the ability to obtain a government security clearance; you will be notified during the interview process if this position is subject to a government background investigation.
