Job summary

The Director will manage a multi-million-dollar budget, oversee hosted/cloud environments, and partner with the Technology Innovation Engineer to explore automation and data tools that improve services and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience leading IT in a municipal or public sector setting.
• Ability to manage multi-year IT investments and budgets.
• Strong focus on cybersecurity, risk management, and compliance.
• Proven vendor management and contract negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Set and execute the City’s IT strategy and modernization roadmap.
• Lead a five-person IT team and coordinate with city departments.
• Oversee cybersecurity, data protection, and disaster recovery planning.
• Manage department budget, procurement, and service agreements.
