Community HousingWorks is seeking an IT Director to lead the IT/BI function, aligning technology with business outcomes for CHW. You will partner with executives to set strategy, drive enterprise applications, and ensure cybersecurity, data governance, and analytics support across the organization.

The role requires strong leadership and a proven track record in real estate IT environments, with a hybrid work model based in San Diego, CA.

Qualifications

• 8 years of proven experience in an IT leadership role.
• Strong business acumen and ability to align technology with business goals.
• Experience managing enterprise applications; real estate/PM accounting experience a plus (Yardi, MRI Software).
• In-depth knowledge of enterprise IT systems, infrastructure, security, and emerging technologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Shape and facilitate the technology strategy, aligning IT/BI with business goals.
• Champion tech opportunities, quantify value, and justify investments.
• Plan and execute strategic initiatives with clear success criteria.
• Oversee IT/BI projects intake, prioritization, sizing, and approvals.
• Create and maintain a rolling IT/BI roadmap for the team.
