System One is seeking an IT Director for a direct hire position in Pittsburgh, PA. You will lead IT strategy, oversee services across multiple locations, and ensure robust security and continuity.

This role requires strong leadership, extensive knowledge of networks, cloud services, and Windows environments. You will manage VPNs, backups, and interface with fabrication equipment, while mentoring IT staff.

Qualifications

• 5+ years IT systems administration experience
• Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Knowledge of networks, cloud-based networking, and cybersecurity
• Experience with Microsoft Windows systems administration

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and oversee IT services across multiple locations
• Administer Google Workspace email and security
• Configure cloud-based appliances, backups, and network infrastructure
• Maintain systems interfacing with fabrication machines like plasma tables, laser cutters, and welders
• Manage site-to-site and client VPN networks and device security
• Administer Windows PCs, manage help desk and procurement
• Set up remote field offices and manage communications services
• Manage servers and security enclave equipment
• Develop IT staff training and maintain IT documentation
