System One is seeking an IT Director for a direct hire position in Pittsburgh, PA. You will lead IT strategy, oversee services across multiple locations, and ensure robust security and continuity.

This role requires strong leadership, extensive knowledge of networks, cloud services, and Windows environments. You will manage VPNs, backups, and interface with fabrication equipment, while mentoring IT staff.

Qualifications

Overview
System One is looking for an IT Director for a direct hire/perm opportunity in Pittsburgh.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and oversee all aspects of IT services across multiple locations.
• Administer Google email and manage strong security practices for all IT systems and devices.
• Configure and manage cloud-based appliances, backup solutions, and network infrastructure including wired and wifi networks.
• Maintain and troubleshoot systems interfacing with fabrication machines such as plasma tables, laser cutters, and welders.
• Manage site-to-site and client VPN networks, device security, and ensure organizational policies compliance.
• Administer, maintain, and configure Windows PCs; manage help desk support and hardware/software procurement.
• Set up remote field offices, manage cellular data accounts, building security systems, cloud-based phone systems, and internet services across multiple locations.
• Manage servers and security enclave equipment; oversee security in the CUI enclave.
• Develop and provide IT staff training, maintain documentation for IT processes, configurations, and support guidelines.

Requirements

• Robust and wide understanding of computer systems, networks, security, telecommunications, databases and storage systems
• Strong interpersonal communication and leadership skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage tasks/projects, escalates issues as needed
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Outstanding verbal and written communications skills
• Knowledge of network systems and cloud-based networking
• Ability to synthesize information and make independent decisions
• Manage and adjust processes as business expectations change and evolve
• Initiative and adaptability to a changing environment
• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT systems administration or a related role
• Administrative experience with Microsoft Systems
