Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking an IT Director in West Chester, OH to lead technology strategy, cybersecurity, and day-to-day IT operations supporting manufacturing operations.

The role requires 3+ years in IT leadership and 7+ years in manufacturing IT, with strong network, cloud, and ERP/MRP experience, including PLEX. You will partner with executives to align tech with business goals and manage budgets and vendors.

Qualifications

3+ years of progressive IT experience, including leadership of IT operations.
7+ years of IT experience with manufacturing systems and technology preferred.
Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, systems administration, and data protection.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems; PLEX experience is preferred.
Demonstrated experience managing IT projects, vendors, budgets, and technology implementations.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of an organization.
Ability to balance strategic planning with hands‑on technical support and problem-solving.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder and speak/read English due to ITAR requirements.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute the company’s IT strategy, technology roadmap, and annual priorities in alignment with business goals.
Oversee IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, computers, telecommunications, cloud applications, and user access.
Manage and support business systems, including the PLEX ERP/MRP platform.
Lead cybersecurity initiatives, including access controls, endpoint protection, backups, vulnerability management, and security awareness.
Develop and maintain incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
Oversee help desk and technical support activities to ensure timely resolution of employee technology issues.
Evaluate, select, and manage IT vendors, consultants, software providers, and service agreements.
Develop and manage the IT budget, including hardware, software, capital expenditures, operating expenses, and vendor services.
Ensure IT systems and practices comply with applicable cybersecurity, data protection, contractual, and industry requirements.
Partner with executive leadership, operations, engineering, finance, HR, and other departments to identify technology needs and improve business processes.
