Serenity Home Health Care Agency LLC in Niles, IL seeks a Director of Information Technology to lead internal IT operations, focusing on Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure, and security. You will guide the IT team, set standards, manage vendors, and ensure reliable, compliant technology for critical healthcare services.

This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing cloud environments, network security, backups, and disaster recovery, while partnering with leadership to control costs and drive IT

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience supporting Microsoft cloud and Windows environments.
• Practical experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure administration, IAM, and Windows systems.
• Experience overseeing Azure Virtual Desktop, virtualization, or enterprise remote-desktop environments.
• Solid understanding of networking, VPNs, firewalls, DNS, endpoint security, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Experience leading technical staff, coordinating vendors, and managing critical IT services.
• Ability to explain technical problems clearly to non-technical leadership.
• Strong documentation, troubleshooting, project management, and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide internal ownership for Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure, and Azure Virtual Desktop.
• Oversee access controls, MFA, and least-privilege security.
• Manage Azure subscriptions, monitoring, cost visibility, and technical docs.
• Ensure AVD workspaces, hosts, images, patching, and support processes are managed.
• Lead the internal IT team and define responsibilities, escalation paths, and SOPs.
• Coordinate with MSPs, cloud providers, vendors, and third parties.
• Maintain ownership of accounts, documentation, configurations, data, and backups.
