Job summary

Strategic Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced IT/Digital Project Manager to lead technology projects across a variety of areas on a 12-month contract. The role requires managing multiple concurrent projects, collaborating with business and technical teams, and applying predictive/waterfall, Agile, and hybrid delivery methods.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of project management experience, strong planning and communication skills, and experience with Microsoft Project and Jira.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in medium to large organizations.
• Experience delivering IT/digital projects using waterfall, Agile, and hybrid approaches.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and cross-team dependencies.
• Strong planning, scheduling, financial, risk, issue, and change management skills.
• Experience collaborating with business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management.
• Proficient with Microsoft Project and Jira.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT/Digital projects from planning through closure.
• Manage scope, schedule, budgets, resources, risks, and changes.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, RAID items, and status reports.
• Coordinate activities across business, technical, and vendor teams.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects across applications, data, integrations, and infrastructure.
• Facilitate governance, meetings, and change control.
• Communicate status, risks, issues, and decisions to stakeholders and leadership.
• Ensure compliance with project governance and control processes.
• Drive accountability for project commitments and issue escalation.
