Job summary

Oxy is a leading oil and gas company seeking an Analyst, IT Digital Experience in Houston, TX. You will collaborate with business users to enhance the IT end-user experience and support digital transformation initiatives.

You will pilot new technologies, troubleshoot issues, log incidents in ITSM (ServiceNow), and provide end-user training while coordinating with cross-functional teams. A minimum of 1 year in IT is required, with strong communication skills and readiness for after-hours support.

Qualifications

Minimum 1+ year of relevant IT experience.
Valid driver’s license with ability for after-hours calls.
Strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Experience with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

Develop relationships with business users to identify IT needs.
Pilot and roll out new technologies to improve IT user experience.
Troubleshoot issues and provide end-user assistance through the full support lifecycle.
Log incidents and service requests in ITSM tools and escalate as needed.
Install and support hardware, OS, applications, and peripherals.
Monitor system performance and respond to WAN/LAN and wireless inquiries.
Maintain documentation and knowledge transfer materials.
Lead IT support initiatives and training.
Conduct end-user training on apps, hardware, and collaboration tools.
Physically maneuver IT hardware when required.
