TEKsystems is seeking candidates for an onsite Desktop Support role in Cleveland, OH. This contract-to-hire opportunity focuses on diagnosing and resolving software and hardware incidents, deploying Windows 10/11, and providing strong user support.

The team values reliable service and fast issue resolution. Ideal candidates will have IT support experience, a willingness to grow within the company, and the ability to document requests clearly in the service desk system.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents, including Windows and Mac environments.
• Swap laptops/desktops and deploy Windows 10/11.
• Re-image Windows 11 from Windows 10 on machines.
• Assist users with IT-related incidents and provide first-line support.
• Record, document, and track requests using the IT service desk system.
• Install and configure new IT equipment and peripherals.
• Resolve incidents and upgrade software/hardware as needed.
• Maintain high-quality customer service at all times.

One of TEKsystems clients is looking for multiple qualified candidates to support their IT department's Desktop Support team.

This is a great opportunity for someone to get their foot in the door with a local enterprise company. Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• To diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents, including operating systems (Windows and Mac) and across a range of software applications
• Swapping out laptops/desktops and deploying Windows 10/11
• Re-imaging windows 11 onto machines from windows 10
• To assist all our users with any logged IT related incident when called upon
• To take ownership of issues by carrying out problem analysis to implement temporary or permanent fixes with the aim of restoring service to the customer as soon as possible; escalating incidents to other support teams where necessary
• To accurately record, update and document requests using the IT service desk system
• To install and configure new IT equipment
• To resolve incidents and upgrade different types of software and hardware
• To resolve incidents with printers, copiers, and scanners
• To maintain a first-class level of customer service ensuring that all customers are treated efficiently and in an appropriate manner
• CompTIA Certifications are desirable for this role

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cleveland, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $14.00 - $18.00/hr.
