Gaylor Electric, Inc. is seeking an IT Desktop Support specialist to provide help across software platforms and computing equipment within the Gaylor technology environment.

The role includes responding to support requests, documenting issues, and performing routine hardware/software troubleshooting. Ideal candidates should have strong communication skills, knowledge of Windows desktop environments, and be prepared to participate in on-call rotation for after-hours incidents.

Responsibilities

• Maintains appropriate records, files, and documentation
• Responds to support requests and takes necessary steps to resolve problems
• Documents support issues and solutions
• Remote problem-solving through use of remote connection tools
• Diagnoses Windows and PC hardware and software issues
• Laptop, tablet, cell phone configurations and deployments
• Basic troubleshooting of LAN and connectivity issues
• Performs data migrations and assists in data restorations on local devices
