Job summary

The AME Group is seeking an IT Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for Windows-based systems. You will provide on-site and remote support to clients, ensuring security, reliability, and peak performance.

Responsibilities include maintaining Windows environments, AD/DNS/DHCP, MSP tooling, and cybersecurity practices while communicating clearly with clients and teammates.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of IT support or similar role.
• Solid knowledge of Windows 11 and Windows Server environments.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, VPNs, switches, routers).
• Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Windows desktops, laptops, and servers (Windows Server 2016/2019/2022/2025)
• Perform routine maintenance including updates, patching, and system health checks
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 issues
• Respond to support tickets and provide timely resolution to end-user issues
• Install, configure, and deploy hardware, software, and peripherals
• Document all service activity, solutions, and client interactions in ticketing systems
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding of users and devices
• Support cybersecurity best practices including endpoint protection and patch management
