Job summary

Energy Transfer provides legal counsel on software contracts across the Energy Transfer family of partnerships and supports the company’s Information Technology department. Qualifications

Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
Licensed in good standing to practice law in a US jurisdiction.
3+ years of experience as counsel in a corporate legal department.
At least three years reviewing, drafting, and negotiating software-related contracts.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear contract language.
Familiarity with cybersecurity, GDPR, privacy, IP, and compliance issues a plus.

Responsibilities

Review, negotiate, and draft contracts for IT assets and services.
Ensure contracts comply with applicable laws, Energy Transfer policies, and departmental procedures.
Maintain accurate records of contract transactions in systems of record, including ServiceNow and Agiloft CLM.
