Job summary

Forum Energy Technologies (FET) seeks a Contracts Counsel to review, negotiate, and manage commercial contracts in a fast-paced energy environment. Reporting to the General Counsel, you will ensure terms align with risk policies and business objectives while collaborating with internal teams and external customers and vendors.

You will draft and redline contracts, prepare amendments and scopes of work, maintain a contract management system, and help optimize signature workflows. A J.D.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing.
• 2-5 years of experience in commercial contract review, drafting, and negotiation, preferably in manufacturing, oilfield services, or energy.
• Strong understanding of various commercial contract provisions including indemnity, liability, warranty, and other risk-related terms.

Responsibilities

• Review, redline, and provide legal risk analysis of contract terms to align with policies and law.
• Negotiate commercial contract terms with customers and vendors, including indemnity, liability, warranty, and other provisions.
• Prepare and review amendments, scopes of work, purchase orders, and related documents.
