Job summary

Munich Re US is seeking a Financial Compliance IT Sr Manager to lead technology compliance and controls within the regional Financial Compliance Unit. You will oversee testing of IT general controls, application controls, and automated controls, coordinating remediation and regulatory readiness with cross-functional partners.

Reporting to the Head of Financial Compliance, you will guide the team, develop testing strategies, and ensure processes meet MAR requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, MIS or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of relevant work experience.
• Strong knowledge of audit and internal control concepts.
• Ability to assess complex situations and provide value-added recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication with leadership.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate and implement IT control solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT MAR control testing within regional Financial Compliance.
• Plan resources and workloads for IT compliance testing.
• Develop team, test plans, and assess control effectiveness.
• Maintain testing quality and evidence alignment.
• Partner with IT leadership and monitor changes for IT control matrices.
• Communicate findings and support remediation.
• Track program activity and remediation workstreams.
• Coordinate remediation across stakeholders.
