Munich Re US seeks a Senior IT Risk Officer to coordinate IT audits, regulatory requests, and governance across North America and globally. You will work with IT teams, auditors, regulators, and executives to deliver credible, risk-based recommendations and practical remediation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT audit, IT compliance or technology risk experience in regulated environments.
• Experience coordinating complex internal/external/regulatory IT audits from planning to closure.
• Familiarity with North American financial services and insurance regulations (NYDFS, OSFI, NAIC).

Responsibilities

• Serve as central contact for IT audits, regulatory questionnaires, and inspections.
• Coordinate end-to-end IT audit activities across stakeholders and phases.
• Support audit discussions with fact-based, risk-aligned conclusions and evidence.
• Prepare executive-ready reporting for senior stakeholders and governance forums.
• Maintain audit registers, measures tracking, and issue follow-up.
• Apply risk-based prioritization and manage audit scope and timelines.
• Elevate issues with practical options and recommended remediations.
• Strengthen audit coordination, reporting, and leadership visibility across IT Risk & Compliance.
• Provide practical guidance on IT audit, regulatory and compliance requirements.
