Job summary

Munich Re is seeking a Financial Compliance IT Sr Manager to lead technology compliance and controls within the regional Financial Compliance Unit. You will oversee IT MAR control testing, coordinate remediation, and liaise with Finance, IT, Internal Audit and Risk Management to ensure regulatory readiness and strong control environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in MIS or related field is required.
• 7+ years of relevant work experience.
• Strong knowledge of audit and internal control concepts.
• Ability to assess complex situations and provide value-added recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication with leadership and stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT MAR control testing within the regional Financial Compliance framework.
• Plan resources and workload management for IT compliance testing and remediation.
• Develop and mentor team; establish test plans and evaluate control effectiveness.
• Maintain testing quality with templates, evidence and standards.
• Partner with IT management and stakeholders to monitor IT controls and processes.
• Communicate findings and support remediation efforts across stakeholders.
• Track program activity and key decisions for IT MAR activities.
• Coordinate remediation across involved teams and functions.
