Munich Re US is seeking a Senior IT Risk Officer to lead IT audit coordination across North American and global tech environments. You will work with IT teams, business stakeholders, auditors, regulators, and risk colleagues to ensure timely, credible responses and practical remediation.

This role offers exposure to senior leadership, cross-border collaboration, and the opportunity to influence governance processes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in IT audit, IT compliance, or technology risk in highly regulated environments.
• Familiarity with NAIC, NYDFS, OSFI regulatory contexts in North America.
• Excellent written and verbal communication tailored for technical and leadership audiences.
• Eligible for professional certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISSP, CISM, CGEIT, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Serve as central point of contact for internal and external IT audits and regulatory inquiries.
• Coordinate end-to-end IT audit activities with stakeholders across phases from planning to closure.
• Support audit discussions with fact-based, risk-aligned conclusions.
• Prepare executive-ready reporting and governance materials for senior stakeholders.
