Job summary

State of Michigan’s Department of Technology, Management and Budget, Agency Services, seeks an IT Compliance Analyst P11 to support MDHHS with System Security Plans for 200+ applications. The role involves interpreting security controls, coordinating documentation for audits, and helping teams meet regulatory requirements.

You will train IT and non-IT staff, perform data collection, and present findings to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 21 semester credits in computer science or related field.
• Associate's degree with 16 credits and 2 years IT experience, or 4 years of IT Student Assistant work.
• High school diploma with 4 years of experience in application programming or IT roles.
• Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States within three business days.

Responsibilities

• Complete and maintain System Security Plans for MDHHS applications.
• Interpret security requirements based on NIST 800-53, HIPAA, MARS-e, Pub 1075 and other regs.
• Assist with collecting and organizing responses for internal or federal audits.
• Train IT and non-IT staff on processes and provide outreach within the work area.
• Data collection and presenting topics within the IT security program.
