Job summary

State of Michigan DTMB seeks an IT Compliance Analyst within the MDOT program to develop and maintain System Security Plans for 150+ applications. The role requires applying NIST 800-53 controls and collaborating across IT teams to meet regulatory requirements.

The position is located in Lansing, MI with a hybrid schedule (2 days in office per week). A sign-on bonus up to $2,500 may be available, with terms tied to probation completion.

Qualifications

• Experience interpreting security controls based on NIST 800-53.
• Familiarity with IT risk assessment and compliance processes.
• Ability to train staff on IT processes and governance.

Responsibilities

• Complete and maintain System Security Plans for 150+ applications.
• Interpret security implementations per regulations and frameworks.
• Prepare documentation for internal and external audits and reviews.
• Provide training and outreach to IT and non-IT staff on processes.
