Job summary

The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) Information Technology Programmer Analyst position supports the MDOT within the Department of Technology, Management and Budget. The role involves completing and maintaining System Security Plans for 150+ applications based on NIST 800-53 standards, interpreting security implementations, and supporting internal and federal audits.

Additional duties include training staff, providing outreach, and delivering presentations on compliance topics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 21 semester credits in IT-related fields.
• Associate degree with 16 semester credits in IT-related fields plus two years IT experience, or four years IT experience in lieu of degree.
• Knowledge of NIST 800-53 and IT security frameworks.
• Experience with System Security Plans and IT compliance documentation.
• Ability to train both IT and non-IT staff on compliance processes.
