Job summary

State of Michigan, Department of Technology, Management, and Budget (DTMB), seeks a Senior IT Business Analyst to coordinate with DNR, EGLE, and MDARD, ensuring alignment with GRC practices and policies. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 21 semester credits in computer science, data processing, computer information systems, data communications, networking, systems analysis, computer programming, information assurance, IT project management or mathematics.
• Associate's degree with 16 semester credits in computer science, information assurance, data processing, computer information, data communications, networking, systems analysis, computer programming, IT project management or mathematics and two years of related IT experience; or two years as an IT Student Assistant may substitute for the education requirement.
• Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school and four years of experience as an application programmer, computer operator, information technology technician, or four years of experience as an Information Technology Student Assistant may substitute for the education requirement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate agency, DTMB, and vendor efforts to ensure compliance with SOM Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) practices and policies.
• Assist with completing the system security plan of the MiSAP, including risk assessment questions, POAMs, and vulnerability scanning onboarding.
• Train and mentor staff on tools, processes, and procedures related to IT compliance and audit support.
• Support audit criteria compliance and provide process development and audit support for partner agencies’ IT systems, websites, apps, and mobile platforms.
• Collaborate with auditors, project managers, analysts, vendors, development resources, and business partners to ensure audit credibility and compliance.

Education

Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or math with 21 credits in listed IT fields

Associate's degree in CS/IT with 16 credits + 2 years IT experience

High school diploma plus 4 years IT experience (substitution for education requirement)
