Job summary

SRG is seeking an IT Communications Writer to translate technical initiatives and policy updates into clear messaging for clinicians, researchers, admins, and leadership. You will work with infrastructure, security, and project teams to keep stakeholders informed during technology changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Technical Writing, IT, or related field.
• 3+ years of IT communications, technical writing, corporate communications, or a related role.
• Demonstrated ability to simplify complex topics such as networking, security, endpoint management, and infrastructure changes.
• Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing communications across multiple channels and working directly with technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and distribute communications for maintenance events, outages, system changes, software deployments, security advisories, and MDM/BYOD policy updates.
• Translate technical information into clear, actionable messaging for non-technical audiences.
• Manage the IT communications calendar and coordinate messaging with change and incident management processes.
• Create content for email, SharePoint/intranet, Teams, digital signage, FAQs, and knowledge base articles.
• Develop templates and standards to ensure consistency and rapid response during planned and unplanned events.
• Support major incident communications and executive briefings.
• Measure communication effectiveness and continuously improve messaging.
