Job summary

LineVision, Inc. in Boston, MA is seeking an Information Technology Co-op to serve as a key IT resource for employees while contributing to infrastructure projects that improve security and efficiency.

You will support onboarding, troubleshoot laptops, manage access, and help implement zero-touch deployment with Workspace One UEM and Apple Business Manager, while documenting processes for consistent service delivery. A hybrid, on-site schedule at our Charlestown headquarters is expected.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication to explain technical concepts clearly to users at all levels.
• Hands-on experience with Windows and Mac operating systems, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Working knowledge of Google Workspace and file system organization for data classification and tagging projects.
• Experience with support ticketing systems to track requests, document solutions, and maintain service quality.
• Detail-oriented approach to configuring deployment tools, validating security controls, and ensuring documentation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver responsive IT support as the first point of contact for employees, troubleshooting laptops, resolving access issues, supporting onboarding/offboarding, and keeping people productive.
• Leverage Workspace One UEM automated staging to reduce onboarding time and increase flexibility for new hires; integrating with Apple Business Manager
• Implement confidential data handling controls that enforce LineVision’s Data Management policy
• Build institutional knowledge through documentation of IT processes, solutions, and workflows to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery
• Identify AI automate-forward opportunities to refine support processes based on recurring issues and employee feedback
