Job summary

PCC Airfoils – SMP in Wickliffe, OH is seeking a co-op student pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Electrical/Computer Engineering to apply classroom knowledge to real-world projects within the IT and engineering environment.

The role includes troubleshooting hardware and software, supporting Windows 10 and Office, basic networking, and collaboration with project teams on new product development. Housing or travel stipend available; potential full-time employment after graduation.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of computer hardware.
• Basic knowledge of computer networking.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of SQL, stored procedures, VB 6.0, C#, or VB.Net is a plus.
• Good writing skills and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply principles learned in school to hands-on situations.
• Achieve performance goals with increasing responsibility.
• Identify and fix computer and network problems.
• Attend daily departmental meetings and participate in project teams.
• Work on computers, printers, and network; troubleshoot hardware issues.
• Troubleshoot Windows 10 and Office; printer repair and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate on new product development and product enhancements.
