Job summary

PCC Airfoils – SMP in Wickliffe, OH offers a co-op opportunity for students pursuing automation, electrical, or computer engineering. Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals.
• Basic PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Basic robotic programming is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of SQL, stored procedures, VB6/VB.NET or C# is a plus.
• Good writing and interpersonal skills.
• US Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident.

Responsibilities

• Apply school principles to hands-on situations.
• Meet performance goals and take progressive responsibility.
• Identify and fix electrical and automation problems.
• Attend weekly departmental meetings.
• Take ownership of identified projects.
• Participate on project teams for assigned projects.
• Work within specifications to meet goals and timelines.
• Collaborate on new product development and enhancements.
• Work on automation components, PLCs, and HMIs; troubleshoot hardware, electrical, and logic issues.
