Job summary

Pan-Oston is seeking a technically hands-on IT & Business Systems leader in Bowling Green, KY to connect business priorities to systems, data, and tools. You will own ERP/WMS and manage our Network Administrator, while coordinating outsourced MSPs and cybersecurity partners.

You will help operationalize AI/Automation as part of a 12- to 18-month plan, turning defined priorities into executable technical projects with clear data-backed outcomes.

Qualifications

Job description

We\'re looking for a technically hands-on IT & Business Systems leader who can take defined business priorities and connect them to real systems, data, and tools — and drive execution. You\'ll work directly with leadership on an already-defined roadmap, own our core business applications (ERP, WMS), directly manage our Network Administrator, and hold our outsourced managed-services and cybersecurity partners accountable.

Leadership already has a clear vision and roadmap for where AI and automation should take us next — grounded in deep knowledge of the business and where our data lives. This role won\'t need to invent that vision. It will operationalize it: connecting business priorities to the right systems, data, and tools, and managing execution as we build out a dedicated AI/Automation function over the next 12-18 months.

What Success Looks Like in Year One

• IT operations run proactively, not reactively — clear priorities, ownership, and a network administrator with real direction.
• Managed services and cybersecurity vendors are held to clear, measurable service levels.
• ERP/WMS and other core system needs are gathered accurately from the business and implemented right the first time.
• Leadership\'s AI/automation priorities are translated into scoped, executable technical projects — with this role connecting the dots to the data and tools required.
• You\'ve helped scope, and are ready to hire and lead, a dedicated AI/Automation Analyst.

What We\'re Looking For

• Strong SQL and relational database skills, with real hands-on experience connecting or integrating data across business systems.
• A track record of taking defined priorities from a business stakeholder and building the technical path to deliver on them.
• Experience administering or supporting ERP or similar enterprise business applications.
• 2-5 years in IT, business systems, or ERP/application administration.
• Comfort managing vendors or managed-service providers.
• Willingness to grow into managing technical staff — prior supervisory experience is a plus but not required.
• Nice to have: manufacturing/distribution background; experience with Power Platform, Power BI, or APIs; prior oversight of a cybersecurity vendor relationship.
