We are looking for an expereince Director of Global IT & Digital Transformation to lead a newly elevated technology leadership function.
This is an opportunity to step into a business with mature ERP and CRM systems already in place, a strong security foundation backed by a global parent organization, and genuine executive-level visibility, but with real latitude to define how technology drives the next phase of growth. You'll partner directly with the leadership team to modernize how the business uses its systems, data, and emerging AI capabilities, while overseeing a foundational IT operations team.
This role combines roughly 40% IT operations leadership with 60% strategic business partnering, digital transformation, and AI/data strategy — making it ideal for a leader who wants to move beyond "keeping the lights on" into genuinely shaping how a global business operates.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a global IT and digital transformation roadmap
- Align technology investment with business growth priorities
- Establish IT governance, policies, and operating standards across a global footprint
Enterprise Applications & Systems
- Own and optimize a live, established enterprise application portfolio (ERP, CRM, manufacturing/engineering and supply chain systems, BI platforms)
- Serve as the in-house expert deepening the organization's own knowledge of its core ERP — reducing reliance on outside consultants
- Drive ongoing enhancements and data governance, not a from-scratch implementation
- Lead enterprise data governance and architecture initiatives
- Partner with Finance and business leaders to deliver executive dashboards, KPI reporting, and predictive analytics
- Improve data quality and accessibility organization-wide
- Build on an existing early-stage AI pilot to define and scale a company-wide AI strategy
- Identify priority use cases across engineering, finance, sales, and operations
- Establish responsible AI governance as adoption scales — deep AI experience not required, strategic curiosity is
Infrastructure, Security & Operations
- Partner with a global IT operations team to oversee cloud infrastructure, networks, and end-user computing
- Maintain and evolve a mature cybersecurity posture, supported by group-level security resources
- Support technology needs across global manufacturing operations
Leadership & Business Partnership
- Build and develop a growing IT organization (~5 person team today, with mandate to scale)
- Serve as a strategic technology advisor to the executive leadership team
- Own technology budgets, vendor relationships, and investment decisions
Requirements:
- 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including 4+ years leading teams
- Strong foundation in IT operations (infrastructure, cloud, security) combined with genuine business-partnering and digital strategy experience
- Experience with ERP platforms (Microsoft Dynamics 365 or equivalent) and CRM (Salesforce or equivalent)
- Comfort building AI strategy and roadmaps even without deep technical AI expertise
- Global, technology-driven, or complex operating environment experience strongly preferred; manufacturing background a plus but not required
- Executive presence and the ability to operate as a peer to senior leadership
What's on Offer
- A senior, high-visibility seat reporting directly to the CFO with real influence over enterprise technology direction
- Exposure to and mobility within a large international group of operating companies
- Competitive compensation and relocation support for the right candidate.
