Mercury Systems is seeking an IT-Business Systems intern to support digital transformation, workflow optimization, and AI initiatives. You will document processes, support system enhancements, and contribute to automation projects alongside the Business Systems team.

The role suits a senior-year student pursuing CS or engineering, with a focus on low-code development and cross-functional collaboration. On-site internship in Andover, MA, May/June to August/September 2027.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a university program pursuing a bachelor’s or master's degree in computer science or engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Interest in business systems, process improvement, low-code platforms, or AI-enabled technologies.
• Familiarity with process-mapping tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist with business process documentation, mapping current and future state workflows.
• Support requirements gathering for Mendix-based applications and translate user needs into functional requirements.
• Participate in UAT by executing scripts, recording defects, and validating updates.
• Prepare materials and data for reviews, standups, and stakeholder meetings.
• Create and maintain system documentation, including user guides and training materials.
• Support AI-related responsibilities, such as gathering use cases and documenting workflows.
• Collaborate with team to advance productivity and automation initiatives.
