Job summary

Weltman is seeking a Business Systems Analyst - IT to review, analyze, and improve business systems and user needs. You will work with end-users to identify enhancements, oversee configurations, and monitor performance for efficiency gains.

Responsibilities include documenting needs, testing changes, creating reports, and training staff. The role emphasizes team collaboration, problem solving, and adherence to training requirements in a professional office setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT or related field.
• 2-3 years’ relevant experience or equivalent education/ training.
• Knowledge of tSQL and/or pSQL.
• Ability to communicate with users, developers and managers.
• Familiarity with programming languages and concepts.
• Creative and logical thinking to solve issues.
• Desire to learn vendor applications and create solutions.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients/users to document business needs and goals.
• Provide technical assistance in identifying systems and procedures.
• Analyze business processes to document project scope.
• Create and maintain moderately complex reports and programs.
• Test business processes during development and QA testing.
• Identify problems and determine resolutions.
• Document changes to specifications and configurations.
• Assist with writing user manuals and procedures.
• Monitor post-implementation issues and revisions.
• Guide development units on operational errors.
